An Incredible Sadaqah Jariyah opportunity in Al-Aqsa!

Abdullah ibn Abbas (ra) said, ‘The Prophets built the Sacred House (Masjid Al-Aqsa) and the Prophets lived therein. There is not a single handspan of space in it except that a Prophet has prayed there or an angel has stood.’

Alhamdulillah, for over 15 years, we have had the great honour of helping to preserve the sanctity of Masjid Al-Aqsa! Your generosity has played a vital role in various restorations from the very beginning—whether illuminating its blessed halls or repairing damage caused during attacks. Your support has been instrumental in safeguarding this sacred site for generations to come.

Now, we have been granted an incredible opportunity to install a state-of-the-art public announcement (PA) system throughout the entire complex—including both the Qibli Masjid and the Dome of the Rock—which together can accommodate up to half a million worshippers at a time.

Alhamdulillah, work on this crucial project began in mid-January 2025, and with your help, we can see it through to completion. The current system is in a state of disrepair and urgently needs to be replaced with a modern digital infrastructure. This upgrade will ensure that the Adhan, Khutbahs, and Qur’an recitations resonate clearly across the sanctuary for decades to come, in sha Allah.

This is a rare and extraordinary Sadaqah Jariyah opportunity. Donate today to help us complete this essential project in time for next Ramadan, and earn the immense rewards of every prayer at Masjid Al-Aqsa. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this historic effort!

I want to be part of this!

Significance of Masjid Al-Aqsa

Al-Aqsa is the third holiest site in Islam

The Prophet (saw) travelled here in the miracle that is Al-Isra wal-Mi'raj

It was the direction of the first qiblah (direction of prayer) in Islam

Renovating Bab al-Qattanin Wudu Area

Alhamdulillah, we have been honoured to renovate a few of Masjid Al-Aqsa wudu areas - such as the one pictured on the left. We are currently fundraising toÌýrenovate the Bab al-Qattanin Wudhu AreaÌý- which isÌýinÌýthe Noble Sanctuary itself.

Located at the eastern side of the Masjid, it is 168 square metres and will serve 1,000 worshippers every hour, ma sha Allah!

Ìý

The wudu area is in a poor state right now, as you can see inÌýthis video. It walls and doors need repairing, its sewage and plumping need to be improved and we must elevate its quality so it is worthy of the Noble Sanctuary.

RENOVATE THE WUDU AREA

Illuminate the Dome of the Rock Masjid!

The Prophet (saw) was asked, ‘If one of us cannot visit it (Al-Aqsa), what should we do?’ He (saw) said, ‘Then he should make a gift of some oil to be lit therein [in its lamps]. For indeed the one who gifts this to it will be like the one who has prayed therein [worth 1,000 prayers]’. [Ahmad]

Alhamdulillah, you have been supporting our work at Masjid Al-Aqsa since 2008! You have sponsored olive trees, renovated wudu areas, illuminated various parts of the Masjid and helped us carry out essential maintenance and repair work.

Now, we are honoured to invite you to an incredible opportunity - illuminating the Dome of the Rock Masjid! Located at the centre of the Blessed Masjid Al-Aqsa complex, it is believed to be the exact place where the Prophet (saw) was ascended into the heavens on Al-Isra wal-Mi’raj!

You can help us preserve this historic site, by installing a state-of-the-art lighting system in all central areas for decades to come, in sha Allah!

The total cost of installing the lighting system is £2.5 million - and you have already given over £1.3 million! With this Sadaqah, our partners hope to begin Phase 1 soon. This will illuminate the Main Prayer Hall, the ceiling and arcs, the front and the internal corners.

We highly encourage you to give to this blessed lighting project! It is not only an immense Sadaqah Jariyah, it also carries the reward of praying in Masjid Al-Aqsa - worth a thousand prayers!

Don’t miss out on these blessings! Give now to illuminate the Dome of the Rock Masjid on behalf of yourself or a loved one.

Renovating the Bab ar-Rahmah Cemetery

‘And whoever honours the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts’. [Quran, 22:32]

Bab ar-Rahmah was established at the time of Umar ibn al-Khattab (ra), and is thus around 1,400 years old!

Covering 11,000 square metres, it includes the graves of Sahabah such as Ubadah ibn Samit (ra), the first Islamic judge of Shaam and al-Quds, among 70 other Companions, leaders, martyrs and scholars.

Martyrs from many armies who defended Jerusalem are also buried here, as well as Turk Muslims who lived and died in Ottoman times.

Join us in preserving this significant Islamic landmark! Here's what your Sadaqah Jariyah can do:

  • £100 renovates 5 square metres
  • £200 renovates 10 square metres
