Your food donations in action
Here at 九色视频 we鈥檙e committed to fighting food poverty and supporting individuals, families and communities in need. As well as providing food aid throughout the year, we make sure that deprived families in Ramadan have the food they need to help combat poverty and nutritional deficiency. This Ramadan we are committed to providing 2.5 million meals to over 700,000 beneficiaries.
The Prophet (saw) said, 鈥橞lessed is the wealth of the Muslim, from which he gives to the poor,听the orphan听and the wayfarer鈥�. [Muslim]听
The Prophet (saw) tells us, 鈥楧on鈥檛 delay in giving charity, for it pushes away calamity鈥�. [Tirmidhi]
We are also delivering food parcels in areas such as Pakistan, Banlgladesh, Mali, Sri Lanka, Mauritania, Palestine and many more locations Alhamdulilah, all thanks to your donations and support.
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, 鈥橶hoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest鈥�. [Tirmidhi]
You have the opportunity to double, or even multiply the reward of your fast. Allah tells us that, 鈥楨very deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is for Me and I shall reward for it.鈥� [Bukhari]
Allah says in the Qur鈥檃n, 鈥楢nd whoever saves one [a life] - it is as if he had saved all of mankind鈥�. [Qur鈥檃n, 5:32]
And in this blessed month, your rewards are multiplied. For every life you save you will get the reward of so much more. Our teams are working tirelessly on the ground to deliver your donations this Ramadan, to ensure no-one goes hungry.
Our teams are ensuring the health and safety of everyone during these distributions, as our staff with be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and social distancing will be observed as we follow government and hygiene guidelines.
The Prophet (saw) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to become more generous in Ramadan when Jibril met him. [Bukhari]
Let us follow the Prophetic example of providing food to the needy in this blessed month.听Let us be the answer to the Du鈥檃s of the needy and extend a helping hand when they need it the most.
